Terms of Service

1. Who we are
EDUSTRIM LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under number 17375480, with its registered office at 15a Durants Park Avenue, Enfield, England, EN3 7ED. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean EDUSTRIM LTD. "You" means the person using the service.
We operate Edustrim, an online platform providing simulated securities trading and educational courses at {{domain}}.
2. What the service is
The service consists of:
- A simulated trading environment using fictitious money and delayed market data. No real securities are bought or sold at any point, no real money is at risk, and no account you hold with us has any monetary value.
- Educational courses about how securities markets operate.
3. What the service is not
This is the most important clause in these terms.
We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or any regulated financial service. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and nothing is personalised to your circumstances.
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are not a broker, dealer, or investment firm, and we do not execute real transactions.
Simulated results do not reflect real trading. Real trading involves costs, constraints, and psychological factors that a simulation cannot reproduce.
4. Your account
You must be at least 18 to use the service. You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
5. Free and paid access
The simulated trading environment and the free portion of our courses are available at no cost.
Paid access is offered as:
- A subscription at {{price}} per month, giving access to all courses designated as included, for as long as it remains active. Access ends one month after the most recent successful payment.
- A one-time purchase of an individual course at the price shown, giving access to that course indefinitely, subject to clause 11.
We may add or remove courses from the subscription. Courses you purchased outright remain available to you regardless.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by {{payment provider}}. We do not receive or store your card details. By purchasing, you also agree to that provider's terms.
Prices are shown at the point of purchase. We may change prices, but a change will not affect a subscription period already paid for, and we will give reasonable notice before it applies to your renewals.
7. Cancellation and refunds
See our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Intellectual property
All course content, software, text, and materials on the platform belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access them for your own learning.
You may not copy, redistribute, publish, resell, or make our course content available to anyone else, in whole or in part, and you may not record or reproduce it for distribution.
9. Your content
Trade rationales, notes, and anything else you write remain yours. You grant us a licence to store and process them to provide the service.
We may use aggregated and anonymised data about how the platform is used to improve it. This never identifies you individually.
10. Acceptable use
See our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from the account area.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where we discontinue the service or terminate without cause, we will give reasonable notice and refund any period you have paid for but not received.
12. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Market data is provided by third parties on a delayed basis and may be incomplete, delayed further, or unavailable.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that: we are not liable for any decision you make about real investments, for any loss you incur in real trading, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the product before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections available under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
