Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and which of them need your consent.

We use a small number of cookies, and one item of browser storage. Under PECR, the ones that are strictly necessary to provide a service you requested do not require consent; anything else does.

None of these is used for advertising or to track you across other websites.
Advertising measurement
If you arrive from one of our Google or Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads, we ask whether we may tell that company when the ad led you to sign up or pay. This uses no cookie and no Google or Meta script: if you accept, our server records the click identifier the ad adds to the link, and for a Meta ad your browser and device type as your browser reports it. Our server then tells Google the click identifier and the time you confirmed your account, and tells Meta the click identifier, the time you signed up or paid, your browser and device type and, for a payment, its amount and currency. If you refuse, nothing is recorded and nothing is sent. The privacy policy explains this under "How you reached us".
You can change your answer at any time with "Cookie settings", on this page and at the foot of every page.
Page-view statistics
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, so the cookie rules that require consent do not apply to it, and it runs whether or not you accept. It records the page, the referring site and your country, not who you are.
You can block cookies in your browser, but the service will not work signed in without the session cookie.
